Football Recap: Edison's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Edison dropped to 8-4 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They fell 14-8 to the Newport Harbor Sailors. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Chargers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Maddie Phung threw for 37 yards and one touchdown. Ruby Khoshkbariie was her top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

As for Newport Harbor, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.4 points on average this season.
