Basketball Recap: Rockdale County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Salem

Rockdale County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Seminoles. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seminoles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Khalil Wells and Donovan Bish certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wells posted 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Bish scored ten points and four steals.

Rockdale County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-54 defeat against Eastside on the 15th. As for Salem, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-53 victory against Alcovy on the 11th.
