Basketball Recap: Creek Valley Storm vs. Minatare Indians
The Creek Valley Storm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Minatare with a sharp 52-31 victory. That looming 52-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Creek Valley yet this season.
Ella Whiting went supernova for Creek Valley, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Anna Speirs, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Creek Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Minatare, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Banner County the next time they take the court. Minatare will host Banner County on Friday, while Creek Valley will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
