Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Temecula Valley

The Chaparral Pumas will challenge the Temecula Valley Golden Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Chaparral's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Chaparral turned things around against Murrieta Mesa on Friday. They and the Rams finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Pumas have been dealt a draw since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Temecula Valley came up short against Vista Murrieta on Friday, falling 5-1. The Golden Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Chaparral's draw gives them a new season record of 1-7-2. As for Temecula Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
