Softball Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 23-2 to the J.Z. George Jaguars. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 19-4 to them when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for J.Z. George, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for J.Z. George, they will face off against Riverside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
