The Brandon Academy Scorpions's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Classical Prep 85-19 at home. With that victory, Brandon Academy brought their scoring average up to 55 points per game.
Jeremiah McNeely had a dynamite game for Brandon Academy, scoring 22 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which McNeely has scored at least 25% of Brandon Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Bevilacqua, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Brandon Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Classical Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Brandon Academy will head out on the road to face off against Ruskin Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ruskin Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 497 points over their last seven games. As for Classical Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic at 7:30 p.m.
