Baseball Recap: Elba Takes a Loss

Elba was the 10-7 winner over Geneva County when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bulldogs on Monday, falling 7-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elba saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dywys Reynolds, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Elba now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Geneva County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Elba will challenge Luverne at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. Geneva County has already played their next game (against New Brockton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
