Volleyball Recap: Elgin Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Elgin won the last time they faced Ridgedale, and Jocelyn Wall did her part to make sure it happened again. The Comets came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Wall, who had 28 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Elgin pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ridgedale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Elgin will head out to take on Cardington-Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ridgedale, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Upper Sandusky at 11:15 a.m.
