Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln-Way Central Knights vs. St. Charles North North Stars

The Lincoln-Way Central Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the St. Charles North North Stars at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Lincoln-Way Central earned a 2-0 win over Stagg.

Lincoln-Way Central never let Stagg on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, St. Charles North beat Glenbard West 2-0 on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16.

Lincoln-Way Central's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for St. Charles North, their win bumped their record up to 26-3.

Lincoln-Way Central couldn't quite get it done against St. Charles North in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
