Everything went their way against the McNeil Mavericks as the Hutto Hippos made off with a 62-39 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-12.

Hutto's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ronald Willis led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Cylin Tate, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.
