It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pottsville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Bangor Slaters 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Crimson Tide as they're now sitting on three straight.

Peyton Eckert spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jes Siminitus was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.

Pottsville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Bangor, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

As of now, neither Pottsville nor the Slaters have any future games scheduled.
