East Bridgewater proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Mashpee Falcons. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

East Bridgewater has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Mashpee, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Bridgewater will host Martha's Vineyard Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mashpee, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Nantucket at 4:00 p.m.
