Basketball Recap: Dunwoody Gets the Win

Dunwoody had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Midtown Knights 62-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since December 13, 2024.

Midtown's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Trent Bockman, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 18 points, and Mylik Benoit, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Chase Presely, who posted eight points.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunwoody will take on Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midtown, they will face off against St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
