Volleyball Recap: Olpe Beats Lebo for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Olpe hadn't done well against Lebo recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Wolves 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Olpe was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (63-61), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 11-25, 25-18.

Ella Wilson paced Olpe's offense, picking up eight kills. Wilson got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 17 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Olpe's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Lebo, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-20-5.

Olpe has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Waverly on the 11th. As for Lebo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 11th.
