Vance Kirby Game Report: vs Baker

Destin took down Baker on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Vance Kirby's standout effort. Kirby struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.

Coming up, Kirby and Destin are taking a road trip to challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
