Baseball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

The Page Pirates lost 8-1 to the Burlington Christian Academy Royals on Wednesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Page saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Grieco, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Page will welcome Northern Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Nighthawks have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Chatham HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
