Volleyball Recap: Academy for Urban Scholars Comes Up Short

Academy for Urban Scholars lost against Cornerstone Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 25-20 in the first set.

Academy for Urban Scholars started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-14, 25-8.

Academy for Urban Scholars' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cornerstone Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

As of now, neither Academy for Urban Scholars nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
