Baseball Game Preview: Leedey Bison vs. Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs

The Leedey Bison will take on the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Leedey has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Monday just wasn't the day for Leedey's offense. They fell just short of Hammon by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bison were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Fort Cobb-Broxton came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Longhorns, sneaking past 4-2.

Fort Cobb-Broxton pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Leedey, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
