Basketball Recap: Balboa Comes Up Short

Balboa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 82-68 bruising from Victory Rock Prep. The Roughriders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Victory Rock Prep earlier this season, when they won 74-61.

Balboa's loss dropped their record down to 11-23. As for Victory Rock Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Coming up, Balboa will face off against Colorado Prep at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Colorado Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Balboa likes a good challenge. Victory Rock Prep has already played their next matchup (against Balboa School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
