Basketball Recap: West Carroll Takes a Loss

West Carroll and East Dubuque squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but West Carroll had to settle for second. They were beaten by the East Dubuque Warriors 70-27. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for East Dubuque, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-11.

West Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Dubuque, they will square off against Stockton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in East Dubuque's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Stockton has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
