Defeat or not, Genoa-Hugo/Karval got some senior leadership from Trey Smith who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals and Dane Lockhart who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Smith scored a full 50% of Genoa-Hugo/Karval's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Genoa-Hugo/Karval's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Limon, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.
