Volleyball Game Preview: Ogden Tigers vs. Layton Christian Academy Eagles

The Ogden Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Layton Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Layton Christian Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Ogden, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Ogden earned a 3-1 win over Morgan. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Morgan scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Layton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ben Lomond.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Layton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ogden, their victory bumped their record up to 18-5.

Ogden took their win against Layton Christian Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
