Ozark Catholic Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mountainburg, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Dragons beat Ozark Catholic Academy by a score of 13-1 later that day.
