After losing to Shawnee Mission South the last time they met, Olathe South decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Olathe South Falcons blew past the Shawnee Mission South Raiders 57-32 on Tuesday. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Olathe South pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Shawnee Mission South, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Olathe South and Shawnee Mission South should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Olathe South will face off against Shawnee Mission Northwest on Friday up 61 places (25 vs. 86). Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission South (ranked 41st) will meet Shawnee Mission East (ranked 137th) on Friday.
