Alma and Swan Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Alma Panthers will face off against the Swan Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alma will be strutting in after a win while Swan Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Alma took on Bridgeport on Friday. Alma simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bridgeport 77-49. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Swan Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 49-44 to Bay City Western. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Swan Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Alma, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Everything went Alma's way against Swan Valley when the teams last played back in January, as Alma made off with a 51-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Alma since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
