Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Bishop O'Dowd Dragons + Official Tickets

The Windsor Jaguars will square off against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

If Santa Rosa wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Windsor, they should've done a better job of containing Ava Rush. The Jaguars came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Rush, who had 16 digs and six assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Windsor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Bishop O'Dowd was able to grind out a solid victory over Piedmont on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 20-25, 25-15.

Windsor's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their victory bumped their record up to 18-14.

Windsor was able to grind out a solid win over Bishop O'Dowd in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, winning 2-0. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
