Recap: LeFlore Rattlers vs. Faith Academy Rams
The LeFlore Rattlers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 21-6 bruising from Faith Academy. LeFlore has not had much luck with Faith Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Faith Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tynean Goodwill led the charge by gaining 61 total yards and two touchdowns. Tyrell Dotson also helped with two touchdowns in total.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Faith Academy's defense and their ten sacks. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
LeFlore bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.0 points per game. As for Faith Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
LeFlore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Faith Academy will be playing at home against Elmore County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
