Volleyball Recap: St. Teresa Comes Up Short

St. Teresa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Argenta-Oreana Bombers.

While St. Teresa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23.

Riley Boyer paced St. Teresa's offense, picking up six kills. Boyer got some help from Lucy Pokrzywinski and her nine assists.

St. Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Argenta-Oreana, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

St. Teresa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Unity Christian on the 9th. As for Argenta-Oreana, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Tri-City on the 9th.
