Seneca Valley won the last time they faced Gaithersburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Screamin' Eagles blew past the Trojans 69-47.

Seneca Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malachi Delaware led the charge by shooting 59% from the field en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Delaware is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Bullie, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards.

Gaithersburg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Matthew Brodigan, who posted 15 points, and Matthew Bradford, who earned 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.

Seneca Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gaithersburg, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
