Spanish River won the last time they faced West Boca Raton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sharks pulled ahead with a 33-32 photo finish over the Bulls. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

Spanish River had a senior duo take command as Brooke Eriksson posted ten points and four steals and Ellie Neuman earned eight points and 17 boards. The Sharks are 5-2 when Neuman posts eight or more rebounds, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Danielle MacLeod, who scored five points and seven boards.

Spanish River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They are 8-3 when they hit their own glass that hard.

West Boca Raton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brianna Morgan, who shot 56% from the field en route to 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Krefsky, who put up 12 points along with five boards and three steals.

Spanish River's record now sits at 8-6. As for West Boca Raton, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Spanish River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-35 loss against Park Vista on the 15th. As for West Boca Raton, they have also already played their next game, a 69-39 win against Atlantic on the 15th.
