Tri-City won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Monday too. Tri-City walked away with a 12-9 victory over Meridian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

Tri-City's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Meridian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-City will head out to face off against North Mac at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-City's pitchers better be ready for this one: North Mac has averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season. As for Meridian, they will head out on the road to take on Argenta-Oreana at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
