Softball Recap: Mendenhall Tigers vs. Columbia Wildcats

Mendenhall extended their postseason success on Saturday against Columbia. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Columbia Wildcats. This was a revenge match for Mendenhall, as the team was forced to settle for a 6-2 loss when these two played last Friday.

Kimora Bouldin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits.

On the hitting side, Tatum Berry was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Jo Brewer, who went 1-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base, and an RBI.

Mendenhall's win bumped their record up to 12-8-2. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11-1.

Mendenhall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Columbia also has no future games currently scheduled.
