Softball Recap: Lansingburgh Comes Up Short

Lansingburgh lost against Troy on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Flying Horses, falling 12-4. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Troy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Lansingburgh will venture away from home to take on Cohoes at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Troy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Maple Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flying Horses' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
