Baseball Recap: North Sand Mountain Takes a Loss

North Sand Mountain suffered their biggest defeat since February 17th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Southern Trojans, falling 11-1. The Bison just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

North Sand Mountain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Reed, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Sand Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Southern, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, North Sand Mountain will challenge Pell City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern, they will be playing at home against Etowah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
