Basketball Recap: Sts. Peter & Paul Skates Past the Gunston School with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sts. Peter & Paul). They breezed past The Gunston School Herons to the tune of 91-27 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 63-14.

Sts. Peter & Paul's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Neo Miller, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Mangold, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 18 points and five steals.

The win snapped Sts. Peter & Paul's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for The Gunston School, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Sts. Peter & Paul will be home for the holidays to greet Park School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gunston School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
