Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Enterprise Wolves
Parowan and Enterprise are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Parowan Rams will head out on the road to take on the Enterprise Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parowan has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
Parowan suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a tough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Millard. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Parowan has suffered against Millard since January 26, 2021.
Parowan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Robinson, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Wylee Renzello who scored five points along with five steals. That was a full 66.7% of Parowan's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Edwards, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Enterprise posted their biggest victory since December 12, 2023 on Thursday. They really took it to Water Canyon for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-31 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-10.
Parowan bumped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Parowan ended up a good deal behind Enterprise when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 49-35. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Enterprise's Bentlee Rogers, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Now that Parowan knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
