Softball Game Preview: Ida Bluestreaks vs. Napoleon Pirates

The Ida Bluestreaks will venture away from home to challenge the Napoleon Pirates at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ida is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Ida came up short against Clinton and fell 9-6.

Ida got a big performance out of Reese Hennessey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. Karlee Walentowski also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Napoleon was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell 5-1 to Homer.

Ida's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Napoleon, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
