Soccer Recap: Eastern Wayne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastern Wayne lost against Goldsboro on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Eastern Wayne have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Albedyll and Ezekiel Roberson scored both of Eastern Wayne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Eastern Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Goldsboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Eastern Wayne will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ayden - Grifton at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Goldsboro, they will head out on the road to challenge Southern Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
