Basketball Recap: Still Creek Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Still Creek Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Humble Christian Cougars, sneaking past 46-44. For the Colts, this counts as revenge for the 55-18 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Still Creek Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kelton Inmon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Those 12 points gave Inmon a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Simpson, who went 5 of 8 en route to 11 points and six assists.

Still Creek Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Humble Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Still Creek Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against True North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Humble Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
