Baseball Game Preview: Greenville Green Wave vs. Piqua Indians

For the second straight game, Greenville will face off against Piqua. The Green Wave will welcome the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Greenville turned things around against Piqua on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 6-2. The game was the first time the Green Wave have beaten the Indians on their field since April 30, 2022.

Greenville saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Kerg, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Charlie Jasenski, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Piqua's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
