Football Game Preview: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Union Mine Diamondbacks + How To Watch

Rosemont is 1-8 against Union Mine since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wolverines will host the Diamondbacks at 7:30 p.m. Rosemont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Union Mine likes a good challenge.

Rosemont's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Galt to the tune of 38-0. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Logan Wolhers went supernova, throwing for 301 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Those 301 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Alex 'Pit' Rodriguez was another key player, gaining 115 total yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Mine). They secured a 22-16 W over Argonaut on Friday.

Rosemont's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Union Mine, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Rosemont was taken down by Union Mine 42-14 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wolverines were down 21-0.
