Baseball Recap: Stilwell Indians vs. Jay Bulldogs
Stilwell scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jay Bulldogs as the Stilwell Indians made off with a 14-1 victory. The win was just what Stilwell needed coming off of a 17-0 defeat in their prior contest.
For Jay's part, Sawyer Lane was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with a home run.
Stilwell's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Jay, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.
Stilwell will head out on the road to take on Warner at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jay, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Siloam Springs at 5:00 p.m.
