Basketball Recap: Paraclete Takes a Loss

Paraclete was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 79-28 loss at the hands of the Pilibos Eagles. The matchup marked the Spirits' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Paraclete's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pilibos, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Paraclete won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Vasquez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spirits will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Pilibos, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Sonora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
