Soccer Game Preview: Rockport vs. Danvers

The Rockport Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Danvers Falcons at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Danvers took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockport, who comes in off a win.

Rockport proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Georgetown get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Rockport haven't had any issues with Georgetown recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Danvers was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of Hamilton-Wenham Regional by a score of 1-0.

Rockport's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-4. As for Danvers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-2 record this season.
