Oak Hall had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Christ's Church Academy Eagles with a sharp 7-1 win on Tuesday. Considering Oak Hall has won eight games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Christ's Church Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Thomas Gibson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Oak Hall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Christ's Church Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7-3.

Looking ahead, Oak Hall will take on St. Joseph Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Oak Hall surely won't give up without a fight. Christ's Church Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
