Baseball Recap: Carnegie Comes Up Short

Carnegie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 17-7 to the Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-4 on Tuesday.

Carnegie's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

While Carnegie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
