Soccer Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lafayette can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bell Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bell, they will challenge Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bell will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
