Preview: East Hamilton Hurricanes vs. Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers
The East Hamilton Hurricanes will head out on the road to face off against the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. East Hamilton is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
East Hamilton's 20-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. Their tough 62-41 defeat to Chattanooga Prep on Thursday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, East Hamilton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Chattanooga Prep is ranked 108th).
Meanwhile, everything went Boyd-Buchanan's way against Notre Dame last Friday as Boyd-Buchanan made off with a 49-25 win. That's two games straight that Boyd-Buchanan has won by exactly 24 points.
East Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
East Hamilton came up short against Boyd-Buchanan in their previous matchup back in November, falling 56-49. Can East Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
