Basketball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

Southridge lost against Kamiakin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Southridge Suns came up short against the Kamiakin Braves, falling 57-36. The matchup marked the Suns' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southridge dropped their record down to 11-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Kamiakin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will host University at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kamiakin, they will be playing at home against Ferris at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Kamiakin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
