Owosso unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Durand Railroaders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Owosso were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Durand apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
